Asachild,IalwayslookedforwardtoMid-AutumnFestival,thetraditionalChinesefestivalthatfallsonthefifteenthdayoftheeighthlunarmonth.Itisatimeforfamilyreunions,moon-watching,andeatingmooncakes.Thefestivalhasaspecialplaceinmyheart,asitbringsbackfondmemoriesofspendingtimewithmyparentsandgrandparents,playingwithlanterns,andadmiringthebeautyofthefullmoon.

ThedaybeforetheMid-AutumnFestival,mygrandparentsarrivedatourhousewithbagsfullofgiftsandgoodies.Theycameallthewayfromtheirhometowninthecountrysidetocelebratethefestivalwithus.MyparentsandIwereoverjoyedtoseethem,andwespenttheeveningcatchinguponeachother'sliveswhilesippingteaandnibblingontraditionalsnacks.
