Inaworldthatcansometimesfeelcoldanddistant,itisimportanttorememberthewarmththathumanityiscapableof.Thisstoryisareminderthateveninthedarkestoftimes,thereisalwayssomeonewillingtolendahelpinghandandshowkindnessandcompassiontothoseinneed.

Paragraph1:

Itwasabitterwinter'snight,thekindthatleavesyourbonesachingandyourbreathfoggy.Thestreetswereemptyexceptforafewbravesoulshurryinghometothewarmthoftheirbeds.

Paragraph2:

Inthemiddleofthecold,darkstreetsatahomelessman,shiveringandalone.Hehadnothingbuttheclothesonhisbackandasmallblankettoprotecthimfromthebitingwind.

Paragraph3:

Asthenightworeon,themangrewweaker,hisbodytremblingwithcoldandhunger.Hewonderedifhewouldmakeitthroughthenight.

Justthen,awomanapproachedhim,herfacekindandgentle.Sheofferedhimacupofwarmsoupandapairofglovestokeephishandsfromfreezing.

Thehomelessmanwastakenabackbyherkindness.Hehadgrownusedtopeopleignoringhimoreventreatinghimwithcontempt.Butthiswomanhadshownhimalevelofcompassionhehadnotexperiencedinyears.
