Childhoodisatimeofinnocenceandwonder,whereanythingispossibleandtheworldisfullofendlesspossibilities.Itisduringthistimethatweexperiencesomeofourfondestmemories,manyofwhichshapeusintothepeoplewearetoday.OneofmyfavoritechildhoodmemoriesisaboutamagicaltreehousethatmyfriendsandIdiscoveredinthewoodsnearourneighborhood.

ItallbeganonasunnysummerdaywhenmyfriendsandIwereexploringthewoods.Westumbleduponatreehousethatwehadneverseenbefore.Itwasnestledhighupinthebranchesofatalloaktree,anditlookedlikeithadbeenthereforyears.

Wewereallthrilledatthesightofthetreehouseandcouldn'twaittoclimbupandexploreit.Wetookturnsclimbinguptheladder,andoncewereachedthetop,wewereamazedbywhatwesaw.Theinsideofthetreehousewaslikeamagicalworld,withcolorfulcurtains,cozypillows,andtwinklinglights.

Asthesummerpassed,webecamemoreandmoreattachedtothetreehouse.Weevenstartedbringingourownblanketsandsnackstomakeitfeelmorelikehome.Wewouldspendwholeafternoonslounginginthetreehouse,watchingtheleavesrustleinthewindandlisteningtothebirdschirp.
