IthasbeentwodecadessinceIleftmyhometown.LifetookmeonajourneythatbroughtmetovariousplacesandexperiencesthatshapedmeintothepersonIamtoday.ButnomatterhowfarIhavegone,thememoriesofmyhometownstilllingeredinmyheart.Ioftenwonderedhowmyhometownhaschangedovertheyears.Andso,Idecidedtoembarkonajourneybacktomyhometown,torediscovertheplacewhereIgrewup,andtoreconcilewithmypast.

AsIsteppedoutofthetrainstation,Iwasgreetedbyafamiliarsight.Thetoweringmountainsatthehorizonandthevastricefieldsthatstretchedoutbeforemeremindedmeofmychildhood.Theairwasfreshandcrisp,awelcomerespitefromthesmogofthecitywhereInowreside.ItookadeepbreathandfeltasenseofreliefthatIwasfinallybackhome.
